Road Trip

We left Bacolod City early morning north bound for our road trip around Negros Island. The weather is fine and less traffic until San Carlos City. Just imagine how cool to see the sugar plantation blooming because rain is pouring on them last few days. The road is well developed and I find easy to drive on some hilly part of Negros Island.

It is a nice scene passing mountains on my right and sea on my left. The beauty of nature is beautiful.

The beauty of nature
It is so cool to the eyes seeing beautiful landscape as we drive.
We stop by for a lunch at town of Ayungon, Negros Oriental.
Dumaguete City
Dumaguete City is a tranquil city in the Philippine province of Negros Oriental. It is the capital, principal seaport, and largest city of Negros Oriental. A person from Dumaguete City is called a "Dumagueteno". The city is nicknamed The City of Gentle People
We arrived Dumaguete City around 1700H and we stayed for a night in Dumaguete Spring Resort. Ir is a cozy atmosphere and a place to stay.

We stayed Dumaguete spring resort for one night. It is a nice place to relax and feel at home environment. The resort offers all the amenities you need. All in all, It's the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the tropical environment. Coconut trees and a tropical lushness surround the resort, which is an ideal refuge for the family featuring a beautiful free-form swimming pool, jacuzzi, verdant garden, pool table, darts and an own private beach, private jetty and coral reef.
The owner don't pay me to promote their resort but in my experience I can highly recommend to you Dumaguete Spring is a one place to stay. The resort is located 10 km from Dumaguete City, which is a 10 minute drive.

We left Dumaguete City around 1000H on our second day of Road Trip. We arrived Sipalay around 1300H for a lunch and personal necessities. After we take our lunch we proceed passing the town of Candoni. It is a hard drive because of undevelop roads. We are lucky it is a fine weather passing these dangerous roads. I don't know why until now these town roads are not yet cemented? If compare to Negros Oriental mostly National roads are well develop and repaired but in Negros Occidental National roads especially in Hinobaan and Candoni are still rocky and not safe for driving.
We arrived Bacolod City around 1900h. It was a nice experience having a Road Trip around Negros Island.
